To my friends and family... thanks to a computer literate friend of mine, the follower 18+ is gone. Yayyyyyy. Blessings to you all. : )
To answer your question about the jaw exercises, I can't recommend any because I never did them--BUT I can tell you that at 9-10 weeks I was still at two fingers too. I was worried so I shot my surgeon an email asking about exercises. He told me it was still too early to see if I needed to do them, and that we'd talk about it if I didn't see improvement by our next visit, which was still a month away at the time. For a little while I was struggling to eat anything taller than a pancake.... But then around the 11-12ish week mark it seemed I was able to push just a little further each day (I would especially notice this when brushing and flossing at night)then I got to 3 and then 4 fingers rather quickly.
I know we all get sick to death of hearing "give it time" after this surgery, but so far it seems to be the best advice... the waiting definitely gets old, but I think that in another week or two you'll see that you'll be opening much better! :)
Hello, my name is Rita. I am happy you took time from your busy day to check out my blogs. The Adventures of Rocket and Rita is my most recent and the one I keep up with lately. However, if you are interested in jaw surgery then my other blog may be of some help. I pray you enjoy your day. Remember, you only get this day once.
Hey Rita!
